POTIPOT ISLAND facts from google search
-located roughly 1 km from the mainland shore of Uacon, Candelaria, Zambales
-privately owned island, by a Metro Manila business man and his wife and her family, who are from Candelaria
-white sands that completely surround the whole island
-trees everywhere, about 300 of them
-calm clean water
-no resorts on the island
-boat ride of 5-10 minutes from the mainland shore
POTIPOT ISLAND from my experience
-entrance fee 100, overnight 300 (holy week season, not sure if it's the same with lean season)
-there are some kubo which you can rent while staying at Potipot
-you can stroll around the shoreline of the Island in less than an hour
-water is so clear that you can see what's under like the sea urchin *lol*
-there are no resorts, but there's a water pump and empty pail if you need water if you will take a bath
Maybe:
-you should bring a tent. because if all the kubo are rented, you can have a place to put your things
-bring grilling paraphernalia. There's a place where you can grill your foods but if there's a lot of people there will be no enough space for all of you to grill.

This is the other side. People are here just to take pictures. |
Look! Patrick the Starfish is here. |
Poor little crab. |
Dead fish. :l |
Big Starfish |
Small Starfish |
See how clear the water is. |
I know you don't want to get too close with the sea urchin. |
Especially with them. There's an area where you can find a lot of this. While strolling I saw few people stepped on a sea urchin. So be very careful. |
